2013 open day

September 21st is the date of our 2013 open day at the Alex Jupe Motorsports workshop. The success of last years gathering prompted us to make it an annual event and all Alfa Romeo enthusiasts are welcome to attend. Ample parking is available in the adjacent paddock and the workshop will be open for tours, demonstrations and, time permitting, the odd ramp inspection.
The Goodwood section of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (AROC) will be having a section picnic in the paddock.

Classic & Sportscar featured specialist

Alex Jupe Motorsport is the ‘Featured Specialist’ in the July issue of Classic & Sports Car magazine which I am very excited about!
Classic & Sports Car (www.classicandsportscar.com) is the biggest selling and most authoratative classic car magazine in the UK, so this really is quite an accolade for us and reward for all the hard work we put in. Please pass the word and look out for us in the magazine.

2012 open day report

Thank you to our customers and friends who supported our recent open day and helped make it a great success. We hope to see you all again next year!
For those who weren't able to attend, we hope you enjoy these photos of the event.

summer track days

Myself and some friends enjoyed a track day at Goodwood on July 19th. Wet weather was forecast, so "FEKR", my 3-litre 75, was dusted off and pressed into action. Despite a few drops of rain, the track remained dry and I spent some time experimenting with the pressure in the car's Toyo T1R Proxes tyres. I had been advised that these tyres were sensitive to changes in pressure and so it turned out to be. I eventually found a nice set-up that almost eliminated the understeer that the 75 is well-known to exhibit in medium speed corners such as Lavant.

workshop move

Alex Jupe Motorsport recently moved to a new workshop in the picturesque village of Bosham on the West Sussex - Hampshire border.

AutoItalia photoshoot

The cover of the May 2009 issue of AutoItalia magazine features Bill Smith's GTV6 3.5. The car, built and maintained by us, is detailed in an article called "Fast Trackers" along with Wayne Ellett's 75 3.5.

Trackfun & Marshals' Club track days

As it did last year, the Goodwood Marshals' Club track day rounded off the season and, despite the rain, we were keen to get out on the circuit and put in some miles. The Trackfun day a few weeks before at the begining of November had been busy and track time wasn't in great supply. Never-the-less, both days were great fun, as usual. John Curtin manned the camera.

Practical Performance Car magazine

Practical Performance Car magazine (www.ppcmag.co.uk) recently ran two articles featuring cars prepared by Alex. October 2007 issue contained a GTV6 Buyers' Guide with some stunning studio shots (see below) of a newly restored, red 3.0 car. The following month Alex's own 75 featured in a test of "£2K" track cars.
