This is a very rare opportunity to acquire one of the lowest mileage, original & unrestored Alfetta GTV6’s in existence. This car has had a very pampered life and comes complete with a very comprehensive history file going right back to new including the original book pack. She was bought new by renowned golfer Bernard Gallacher on the 1st of December 1982 who ran her as his daily transport for just 11 months during which time she covered about 8000 miles. Following this she had two long term owners until I acquired the car for the first time in 2006 with just 18,000 miles recorded. Having spent the previous 8 years unused I set about going right through her and fully recommissioning the car for sale, knowing at the time that much as I would have liked to I could not afford to keep her. So, the prop shaft was removed, stripped and rebuilt with all new couplings etc, new rear brake callipers were fitted along with all the hoses being replaced with braided stainless items and a new master cylinder fitted. Again all the hydraulics and hose for the clutch were replaced. Then attention was turned to the engine which had all the fluids changed, a new water pump fitted and new cam belt. Finally 4 new tyres went on. The new owner kept her for about 2 years or so and put on 10,000 summer miles as he enjoyed using her so much before deciding she deserved an easier life so bought another more ‘used’ example to drive and, realising this one would be better suited with a new owner to carry on her care, sold her on in 2009. Thie next owner subsequently looked after her for the next 5 years until he offered back to me and I bought her for myself, this time with the intention to keep her long term. To that end I carried out the following works over the winter of 2014/2015 so she would be ready for me to take to a few shows this summer:
